New DMSO Paraffin (55-58ºC) DMSO Paraffin is especially useful for samples with high cell density, compact structures such as bones, tissues with high lipid content, and delicate biological structures such as nervous tissue, as its characteristics improve its penetration and homogenization in biological samples. DMSO Paraffin is a conventional paraffin with added dimethyl sulfoxide. This prevents possible breakage during the cutting process, improves the solubility and permeability of the product, and enhances the quality of tissue preservation.
