Química Clínica Aplicada, SA (QCA) has sponsored the honorable mention of the 2025 scholarship program of the Dr. Ferran Foundation, awarded to the study on Molar Incisor Hypomineralization (MIH) coordinated by Sílvia Lluís Poy, from the Dentistry group at CAP Roquetes. MIH is a dental enamel disorder with multifactorial causes, primarily affecting children and potentially leading to pain and tooth loss. The study examines the relationship between sociodemographic and family factors and the development of MIH, aiming to promote preventive and community-based strategies. We congratulate the research team and thank the Foundation for its ongoing commitment to science.
From May 18 to 22, QCA participated once again in EuroMedLab, held this year in Brussels. As a key event in Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine, the congress enabled QCA to deepen its technical expertise, explore regulatory updates, and engage directly with end users in the diagnostic sector. Our team gained valuable insights into emerging trends such as personalized diagnostics, automation, and real clinical value of reagents—strengthening our commitment to delivering innovative, safe, and relevant IVD solutions tailored to real-world needs.
